Our court-selection methodology
We optimise for a tourist’s chance of getting a worthwhile confirmed hit—not simply for the biggest or most famous clubs.
Selection criteria
A venue must add genuine choice across location, surface, weather resilience, ease of tourist access, coaching, solo suitability, value, or experience.
- Public or clearly explained guest access
- A booking route that can be documented
- Useful location within a Greater Lisbon itinerary
- Enough differentiation to justify inclusion
Verification standard
We prefer official club pages, published regulations, active booking systems, and direct confirmation. Every playbook carries a last-verified date and a member reporting action.
What inclusion does not mean
The guide is independent. Inclusion is not ownership, representation, an availability guarantee, or an endorsement paid by the club. Casal Santa Maria is explicitly labelled as a direct-arrangement experience rather than a normal rental.
